Glöggkryddor Borgeby - Mulled Wine Spice Mix

Glögg -  or Mulled wine is a spiced and sweetened wine that comes in different alcohol strengths: wine and fortified wine mulled wine and alcohol-free . The word mulled wine comes from the verb to melt and refers to the production method of melting sugar in wine. Red mulled wine is made with a red base wine while white mulled wine is made with a white base wine.

Borgeby: offers four varieties. 

Glögg Rödvin/Red Wine:  One package of spices is enough for 75 cl of red wine. Recipe on the package. Ingredients: Cinnamon, ginger, cloves, bitter orange, cardamom. 

Glögg Vitvin/White Wine:  One package of spices is enough for 75 cl of white wine. Recipe will be found on the package: Ingredients: Cardamom, bitter orange peel, cinnamon, cloves, coriander, lemon peel. 

Glögg Slotts Röd/Mulled Wine Red: The spices are mixed with 2dl of alcohol which is then strained and mixed with 75 cl of red wine. One package of spices is enough for 75 cl of red wine. Recipe on the package. Ingredients: Cardamom, bitter orange peel, cinnamon, cloves, ginger. 

Glögg Slotts Vit/Mulled Wine White: The spices are mixed with 2 dl of alcohol, which is then strained and mixed with 75 cl of white wine. One package of spices is enough for 75 cl of white wine. Recipe on the package. Ingredients: Cardamom, bitter orange peel, cinnamon, cloves, coriander, lemon peel.
