Glögg - Apoteket Aromatisk tinktur - Mulled wine extract
Aromatic tincture is an extract of cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, orange peel and ginger for the preparation of mulled wine. The product contains 52% by volume of ethanol.
The extract is enough for 1 liter of finished mulled wine
Store at room temperature. Contains no alcohol
Apoteket - 25 ml.
Regular mulled wine preparation
Add 25 ml aromatic tincture to 1 bottle of red wine (75 cl) and mix with 1.5 dl sugar.
Heat in a saucepan.
The taste can be deepened by adding small amounts of orange flavor, vanilla, etc.
Larger amount mulled wine preparation
- 3.5 liters red wine
- 600 ml sugar syrup (Syrup: heat up 1 kg sugar and 1 liter water until dissolved)
- 1 bottle aromatic tincture
- Heat in a saucepan
White wine mulled wine
75 cl (a bottle) of white wine
1.5 tbsp Apoteket's Aromatic Tincture
1.5 - 2 dl raw sugar
2 cinnamon sticks
The peel of half an organic lemon
1 vanilla bean
Heat the wine in a saucepan over low heat and add the cinnamon sticks, the vanilla bean divided in the middle, the peel from half an organic lemon and 1.5 dl cane sugar.
Let the wine simmer on low heat until the sugar has dissolved. Taste and add more cane sugar if necessary.
Let stand and soak for 30-60 minutes. Strain the spices and serve the mulled wine hot.
