Gooey Chocolate Cake - Kladdkaka
This super easy to make and super delicious cake is a Swedish favourite. This recipe includes an extra delicious touch as it adds Licorice Turkish Peber on top (or alt. Daim chocolate crunchy bar). Watch Anna's youtube video of how to make it at the bottom of the page.
PORTION: Whatever you want or app 6- 8 pieces
- 100 g or just shy of ½ cup Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 270g or 1 1/3 cup Sugar
- 3 tbl spoons or 12g Cocoa
- 2 tsp or 6g Vanilla
- 150g All Purpose Flour
- A small dollop of Butter for the pan
- Breadcrumbs for the pan, app. 2tbl spoons or unsweetened coconut flakes
Use a a spring form pan- loose bottom, 9” round
Spread the dollop of butter evenly in the pan. Sprinkle bread crumbs,flour or unsweetened coconut flakes on top. Set aside!
Turn oven to 400°F
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Let cool.
Stir together eggs and sugar, (don’t use a beater)
Mix cocoa, vanilla and flour in a separate bowl. Stir in to the eggmix..
Add the melted buter, gently mix everything together until smooth.
Pour into the pan.
Bake in the middle of the oven app. 10-15 min.
Cake should be gooey but not toooo goey!
Start your timer!
Take out cake and let cool!
Decorate with icing sugat on top. Serve with gently whipped cream, fresh berries or other fruit or just eat it out of the pan!
