Dill is one of the most traditional herbs in Scandinavian cuisine, and herring in dill marinade is amongst our favourites. The fresh herb goes really well with the herring – try this on dark rye bread or crispbread or serve with freshly boilt new potatoes and sour cream as a light supper.
